Grammy winner Branford Marsalis is one of today's premier jazz saxophonists. The program, featuring his longstanding quartet, will certainly draw upon his varied experiences, including his New Orleans roots, his classical performances and the excellent interaction and cohesiveness that makes "this band one of the most impressive working today."
