Earth Day Celebration

Environmentally conscious for-profit vendors can purchase spaces for $40 to market their environmentally friendly products and promote their activities. Environmental non-profits are encouraged to participate at no charge to educate the community about their efforts to promote environmental stewardship and conservation. Student groups from the Lanier Cluster are also encouraged to participate at no charge to help create a family-friendly and fun environment with an Earth Day theme. Activities such as face-painting, crazy hair, carnival games, and bake sales with an earth day theme can help clubs and teams raise money while adding to the fun of this community event.

Community Stage Schedule: E.E. Robinson Amphitheater: 12pm-5pm

12pm-12:30pm- White Oak Band and Chorus
12:30: White Oak Jump Rope Team
12:40 Lanier Fencing Team Demo
1:20 Lanier Dance Team
1:40 Lanier Middle School Orchestra
2:20 ALL STARS Performing Arts Academy
3:40 Champion Tae Kwon Do Academy

Touch-a-Truck: Upper Parking Lot 12pm-3pm

Community Recycling: Lower Parking Lot 10am-2pm

- Electronics Recycling is being provided by Atlanta Recycling Solutions, LLC from 10am-2pm. Please note the items they will and will not accept here and note that there is a $10 for TV's.

- Shoe Recycling We will be collecting used running shoes and bringing them to Big Peach Running in Suwannee. The BPRC “Re-use Your Shoes” Program donates used shoes to different organizations in and around Atlanta assisting the homeless and less fortunate.

Community Yard Sale and Earth Day Celebration: Ball Fields 12pm-5pm

- Over 20 yard sale vendors
- Eco-Car Show: Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius on site
- Food vendors (All proceeds from Publix food sales go directly to the White Oak Outdoor Classroom)
- Goddard School
- Elachee Nature Center, Upper Chattahoochee RiverKeeper,
- Advanced Disposal and Recycle Man
- Designs South, LLC, Boost of Nature,
- Wickless Wish, Avon,
- Balloon Animals
- Lanier Cluster School activities and crafts (Face painting, planting, crafts)
