Smithsonian Channel presents “Skateboard Nation,” a documentary about the rise of skateboarding as a popular sport on Native American reservations. The documentary shows how Native skaters have decided to take the sport to a new level and give back to their communities by building parks, staging skate jams and connecting with kids on the move. This year the Atlanta Film Festival is presenting a FREE screening of the Smithsonian Channel documentary. For more information and FREE tickets, please visit www.atlantafilmfestival.com/2012-fest.
